Barev Band

Barev Band is one of the most dynamic and exciting musical groups within Toronto’s Armenian community. Founded in 2020, the band has been led since its inception by its drummer, Souren Pinjeian, whose passion and leadership have helped shape the group’s distinctive sound and growing reputation.

Over the years, many talented musicians have collaborated with Barev Band, contributing to performances at both formal galas and more relaxed community gatherings. The band typically features a vibrant ensemble of five to six musicians, including bass, guitar, saxophone, keyboard, and drums. Together, they create an energetic and versatile repertoire that blends Armenian favorites with contemporary and popular selections.

Barev Band has performed alongside various vocalists and has been regularly invited to provide live music at events hosted by Holy Trinity Armenian Church and the Barev Centre. Their performances add warmth, celebration, and a lively spirit to every occasion.
