Barev Centre is launching the Sassoun Junior Dance Ensemble, a new Armenian dance group for children ages 8 to 13, and the first practice takes place on Saturday, 17 October.
The junior ensemble is led by our new instructor, Ani Grigoryan, who brings six years as a soloist with the KOHAR Choir & Dance Ensemble, solo work with the Tatul Altunyan State Ensemble, and an MA in Choreography from the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography.
Children will learn traditional Armenian dance in a warm, welcoming group. No previous experience is needed, and classes continue on Saturdays through to June 2027.
